CONCEPT STATEMENT
Staying in a tropical country such as Malaysia, we always face the hot weather every day. The way to solve this problem is that we need a very good heat insulator. These are the few keywords that inspired me to create this specific design. Relationship will be well bond between people when we stay under a same roof. It helps to improve communication and quality of living as well. Secondly, since we need better airflow swivel in the living spaces. In fact, we need to have many openings and a spacious place to make it happened. Last but not least, as mentioned just now we need an interlude spaces to enhance the quality of living and better air ventilation. The material that are chosen for this design are mostly using wood material because they are good for air ventilation.

CONCEPT STATEMENT
This project is to design a fine dining restaurant for chef Frederic Anton. He is a chef that desires his customers to appreciate nature. Therefore, the design for this restaurant is mostly green as the main colour scheme. All the keywords are actually associated with mother-nature. This design should be giving a very calming and cooling sensation for the customers to experience in it. The first keyword “colossal”. The word is frankly describing a huge tree which provides shades for people and also protection. Then to help the restaurant look more welcoming, there will be a structure which looked like a layered leaf. This structure has the characteristics of a tree. Secondly, the next keyword “malleable”. This word was inspired by a leaf. As we understood that leaf is part of a plant structure. A leaf has a very pulpy surface. At last, keyword “recapitulation”. A restaurant should have a balance and also equal arrangement to make the surrounding looks clean.
